Premiere

The premiere of the movie The Abode of Ayurveda took place on September 23, 2021 in the Dlabačov cinema in Prague. To the delight of all, the hall was completely full with all 377 seats occupied with spectators, including a number of invited guests from the field of cultural, social and academic life. After the screening, there was an inspiring interview with the filmmaker, Kritartha Brada, who talked about the origin of the movie as well as his own personal story that led him to the knowledge of the Ayurvedic medicine. The evening was truly enriched also by a special guest, the most successful Czech Himalayan climber, Radek Jaroš, who as the first Czech to attain the Crown of the Himalayas, shared his sensible understanding of the place and local people of Nepal.

One week later, on September 30, the Art theatre in Bratislava hosted the Slovakian premiere again with full permitted capacity of 230 visitors. After the filmmaker’s talk about the origin of the movie, there was a nice interview with a special guest, the popular Slovak pantomime Vlado Kulíšek, who enriched the program at the end with his special artistic act “Shopping in the Himalayas”.
